Next Pack Meeting -- Sunday Nov. 22nd, 6:00pm, St. James Church

For Boys and their Parents
We are one of three cub scout packs in the town of Merrimack. Our Chartered organization is St. James United Methodist Church. It is our hope that you and your son will find your time with the pack a rewarding and fun experience in which to continue or begin your Scouting adventure.

BEING A CUB SCOUT

In Cub Scouting you'll have lots of fun, adventure, and activities with your den and pack.
But there's more to it than that. Being a Cub Scout means you are a member of a worldwide youth movement that stands for certain values and beliefs. Cub Scouting is more than something to do. It's all about the boy you are and the person you will become.

Parents of young boys face a lot of choices in after-school activities. Boys want to have fun, while parents want them to learn positive values and skills that will last a lifetime. If your boy is about to enter first through fifth grade, Cub Scouting may be exactly what you are both looking for.

Generations of American men have participated in and benefited from Cub Scouting, and the experience of serving millions of participants over almost a century has enabled us to make Cub Scouting one of the most exciting and rewarding programs available to your family.

As a parent, you can be assured that Cub Scouting:

  • involves a variety of family activities
  • encourages good behavior
  • teaches lifelong values
  • strengthens the bonds of family
